Get to WorkResumes
Who's Writing My Resume?
I'm Paula Rueger, a Certified Professional Resume Writer with a background in journalism and publishing. Since 2007, I've been helping clients at every career stage - from recent grads to senior executives - develop clear, results-focused resumes that highlight their unique abilities and accomplishments. I started Get to Work Resumes when I realized that the value I could provide by working directly with clients. I think of myself as your partner and emphasize the importance of communication and collaboration to create the most effective resume, the one that's going to get you noticed! I'm committed to your satisfaction and work with you through every stage of the process, from first draft through to the final version. Whatever your needs, I'm here for you - so let's Get to Work!
Unlike many companies, I write every single resume and career document myself. When you call, it's me on the phone and you'll have my email so that you can get in touch when you need. I don't outsource any part of the process and there isn't an arbitrary number of revisions to which you're entitled. We work until you're satisfied. Period.
I must say something about price. I know that one can easily spend upwards of $500 just for a resume - I've talked to folks who were quoted $1000 and more! Clients should know that it's quite possible that the person collecting your money is not the one actually writing the resume. I base my pricing on the time it takes to discuss your goals and expectations, create your new documents, and work through any revisions. In today's environment, every dollar spent should return value. That's why I urge everyone to take a good look at who is actually creating their resume and to be sure that they are getting their money's worth!
